The Boston Symphony’s Tanglewood Learning Institute (TLI) presents multidisciplinary events and programs that engage curious minds: from keynote speakers on issues important to civil society, to performances of all types of music, and collaborative programs that include master classes and rehearsals, visual arts classes, music and arts appreciation talks, a cinema series, and immersion weekends.
Collaborators include Berkshire Immigrant Center, Berkshire International Film Festival, Boston University Tanglewood Institute, Chesterwood, Copland House, Historic Artists’ Homes and Studios (a program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation), IS183 Art School of the Berkshires, Jacob’s Pillow, Juilliard String Quartet, Mark Morris Dance Group, Martha Graham Dance Company, Mass Audubon’s Pleasant Valley Sanctuary, Mass Cultural Council, Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition, Norman Rockwell Museum, One Day University, Silkroad, Tanglewood Festival Chorus, and Tanglewood Music Center.
